Well apparently Rocky neck campgrounds wont accept reservations
between Sept.6-30th so i'm out of luck on that idea.Does anyone know
of another campground near the Groton area?

There is a place in Niantic that is a private campground. I don't know how
late in the season it is open but they might be more open to septemeber
reservations.
